The Open Lecture Series (OSLx) is a distinctive, international and open event series tapping on relevant economic, social and environmental issues (which are also important for the region).
We are inviting for each event an accomplished speaker, who will share his perspectives on pressing topics, which set the foundation for the audience to engage in an open conversation.
This event strives to be controversial, thought provoking, and inspiring in the way that it tackles social trends from a different point of view.
****Digital Revolution and the Common Good – understanding and shaping socia-technological change.****
We will kick-off the Series with an issues that seems ubiquitous these days: The Digital Revolution, which will most likely be responsible for an substantial determination of our societies for decades to come – reshaping our industries, changing the way we interact and challenging our moral perceptions.
Although, the digitalisation seems to have entered our public discourse, most of the discoussions circle around the short term developments and how to prepare our industries for the future. But we need to discuss how we can broadly influence and shape the future and the digital revolution for the betterment of our society.
Dr. Andre Reichel will deep dive into the realms of systemic change, the effects it will have and how we can shape change instead of just reacting to it. An he will stress the necessity that we need to debate on the kind of change we want to see instead of just being part of it.
